Our traditional handcrafted 100-prong chasen is essential in the preparation of your matcha, whether it be for Usucha (traditional tea) or a matcha latte.
The purpose of a chasen is to suspend and separate the matcha within the hot water, eliminating clumping, and creating the perfect foam.
To preserve the shape of the chasen and extend it’s lifespan, we recommend using our Matcha Whisk Stand, or Naoshi.
